Stow, OH 01-25-2012 – Audio-Technica today announced the debut of its “Audio 911” video for its Solid Bass headphones. The brash, irreverent video (VIEW VIDEO HERE) stars YouTube sensation Marquese Scott who responds to the impact of Audio-Technica’s Solid Bass headphones in a surprisingly revitalizing way.
“Our Solid Bass headphones are for everyone who wants to move, have fun and get immersed in their music, and we wanted to capture that spirit in our new video,” said Crystal Griffith, Audio-Technica Consumer Marketing Manager. “Our Solid Bass headphones are all about the sound and the energizing impact of the music – and so is the video.”
Audio-Technica partnered with crowdsourcing firm GeniusRocket to create the video. The DVI Group, a member of the GeniusRocket community, submitted the concept and produced the entire video. “We started with many concepts, but chose the ‘Audio 911’ idea because we really wanted to do something different and audacious,” noted Griffith.
